Andrew Weiss, a CPA, is a highly seasoned executive with over 35 years experience in the real estate industry of which the past 23 years was with Parmenter, where he was both the Chief Operating Officer and acting Chief Financial Officer.
Parmenter, an institutional, fiduciary fund manager and vertically integrated operator, was focused on a value-add and core plus investment strategy. Attractive risk adjusted returns were achieved through executing an investment approach focused on a “first-look” based methodology and ensuring that business operations reflect an attention to details, proactive asset management and challenging the status quo. During Andy’s tenure at Parmenter, the firm grew from ten employees to 117 employees through the acquisition of $2.3 billion in assets.
Prior to Parmenter Andy was the Director, Manager of Cushman & Wakefield’s South Florida Asset Services group where he oversaw the property management, leasing and accounting services to C&W’s clients.
As Chief Financial Officer of Greycoat, a U.K public property company, Andy held ultimate responsibility and authority for the day-to-day financial operation of the company. This involved obtaining financing as well as negotiating financing arrangements, acquisition and sales agreements and leases. Prepared feasibility studies for potential developments. Managed the firm's investment portfolio as well as leasing efforts for the company's projects. Established the firm's network computer system and developed propriety programs to respond to analytical and cost control needs. In addition, responsible for staff hiring, training, supervision and administrated the employee benefit program.
